1. Create Your Account

Getting started is simple:

  1. Go to martpos.app/signup.
  2. Enter your email and a secure password.
  3. Click Create account.
  4. Check your email and verify your account using the link provided.

After verification:

  • Complete your name
  • Enter your business name

Your account is now ready to begin.


2. Log In Anytime

To return to your dashboard:

  1. Visit martpos.app/login.
  2. Log in with your email and password.

From here you’ll manage everything: sales, products, stores, employees, and reports.


3. Set Up Your Store

Your store is the foundation of your POS.
From the main dashboard you can configure:

  • Business name
  • Logo (recommended for invoices and receipts)
  • Address and phone number
  • Country and currency
  • Legal or tax information required in your region

Important: this information will appear on your receipts and invoices. Keep it up to date.


4. Create Your First Products

With your store ready, add the products you will sell:

  1. Go to the Products module.
  2. Click Create product.
  3. Fill in the main fields:
    • Product name
    • SKU (optional)
    • Sale price
    • Cost (optional but recommended for profit tracking)
    • Taxes (VAT or equivalent in your country)

Save your changes and you’re set.
With products created, you can start selling and tracking profitability.


5. Manage Your Inventory

Proper stock control prevents losses and failed sales.

To adjust existing stock:

  • Add stock:

    1. Select the product
    2. Open the contextual menu
    3. Click Add stock and enter the quantity
  • Remove stock:

    1. Select the product
    2. Open the contextual menu
    3. Click Remove stock and enter the quantity

You can also edit, activate, or deactivate products from the same panel.


6. Set Up Your Cash Register

When you create a store, Mart POS automatically generates a default cash register.
Configuring it ensures better control over who can process sales.

  1. Go to Stores → Cash Registers.
  2. Select the default register.
  3. Click Change PIN.
  4. Set a 4-digit code and save.

Only the owner or admins should know this PIN, as it allows sales to be processed.


7. Add Your Team

If you work with admins or cashiers, you can give them access without sharing your personal account.

  1. Go to Employees → Create employee.
  2. Enter their name, email, and assign a role.
  3. The employee will receive an email invitation to join Mart POS.

Each role has specific permissions to keep your data protected and your business under control.


8. Make Your First Sale

Now you’re ready to sell.

  1. Enter the Checkout module.
  2. Select your store and open a cash register.
  3. If this is your first time, enter the initial cash amount.
  4. Search products by name, SKU, or barcode.
  5. Review the sale details.
  6. Choose the payment method.
  7. Click Confirm sale.

The sale will be saved and you can print a receipt or invoice for your customer.
